Guarantee on parts and peripherals
Products bought at Mega Info Systêmes are cover by a limited guarantee of 1 years for any material imperfection. This guarantee does not cover the breakings due to a misuse or a physical abuse. These limitations include but are not limited to discharges of static electricity, physical breakings, damages of water, extreme temperatures, electric overload or quite other condition not in compliance with a normal use.
The incompatibility between parts does not qualify for being defective. The guarantee of the manufacturer can exceed the available guarantee in store. The customer always has the option to deal directly with the manufacturer if he wishes it. The customer has to contact directly the centres of repair authorized by the manufacturer if this one offers a longer guarantee. These guarantees do not cover the time required to the technician to make the repair. The guarantee does not cover either the time lost by the customer or any loss of information, productivity, source of income or the other activities with the use of the part resulting from the bad functioning of the part. On no situation the guarantee will cover software problems such as a bad installation of the driver, the virus, the spyware, the malware, unstability of the system, incompatibility with the computer or quite other problem not being due to a physical imperfection of the part.
The customer has to present his original invoice for any repair under guarantee. Expenses of $35,00 services will be charged for any not defective returned product. A minimum of 48 hours following the reception of the product is required for the tests. Any defective product must be returned with its original box, cable, book and the other accessories which could be included with the product. Méga Info Systêmes takes care of the formalities of return for the replacement of the product by the manufacturer. The deadlines of replacement or repair under guarantee vary according to the manufacturer.
Guarantee on system
The guarantee on Méga Info Systêmes's systems is completely identical to the guarantee parts. This guarantee for labor is not applicable if the problem does not result from a defective part. The customer is responsible to clean his computer system to avoid the accumulations of dust in the computer. Le nettoyage n'est pas couvert par la garantie. It is recommended to clean the system at least once in 6 months; more often if the computer shows signs of accumulation of dust, such as in the fan or the connectors behind. Any imperfection resulting from a bad maintenance will not be covered by the guarantee.
Return policy of the on-line bought products
Our objective is to assure us that you are completely satisfied by your purchase. When you receive your order, you have to verify it attentively before opening the packaging of the product sealed in factory. If you are not satisfied with your order, you can exchange or return your product at Méga Info Systêmes.
We also accept the returns by post. Please fill our form of return to ask for an authorization nuber to return your product. Approximately two working days are needed to emit an authorization number for return your product. IMPORTANT: Parts returned without authorization number will be refused. Your authorization number is valid for 14 days. You have only return the product to the same conditions as when you received it, that is with all the manual , the accessories and the list of packaging.
We be happy to exchange or make repayment of part which you bought on-line in 30 days following the reception of your order. We shall exchange items within 14 days following the reception of your order.
For protection of software copyright, the packaging of which is not intact can be exchanged only for the same product. The conditions of this policy are subject to changes without advance notice. Any transaction requires the original receipt. The postal charge and handling fees are not refundable; however, we shall be happy to pay you off the original freight costs if you return an article because of an error of our part or if we determined that the product was defective.
All the products (that they are defective or not) must have returned in the conditions as when you received them, with the original packaging, the guarantee bills, the manual and quite other article or the accessory supplied by the manufacturer. IMPORTANT: if a product did not return with all its accessories, the return can be refused or the value of the missing material can be deducted from the total of the credit.
For purchases made with a credit card, the repayment will be credited on the same card which was used to make the purchase. It is necessary to plan from 5 to 7 working days before the credit is granted to have time to receive and to verify the returned product.
